Press only the ON/OFF button. Four LEDs will show you the status of the ships Pilot Plug and the GPS connection. Furthermore the power ON and the "charge med now" status are shown.

The battery has a continiously use for up to 20 hours. When charging the battery it is possible to use the charger for the laptop.

There will be no more problems connecting the computer and Pilot Plug with false and defective or too short.

SEAMate1A® is waterproof and has a utility within the temperature range -20 / +70 degrees centigrade.

Right:

SEAMate1A® converts if necessary the polarity of the Pilot Plug that has been installed onboard the ship. It also finds the right protocol (RS-232/RS-422) for the computer automatically.

Security:

If the AIS does not work onboard it is possible to move the SEAMate1A® out under open sky and it will hereby give a GPS-signal directly transmittet wireless to the computer.
